On Saturday the 7th of December, 2019, members of the Entrepreneurship Club went for training at IBM West Africa, Lagos office.
The Entrepreneurship Club is in partnership with SME100 Africa. SME100 Africa is a social enterprise that inspires, empowers, and equips young entrepreneurs and small and medium scale enterprises in Africa. Students will be mentored in various aspects of business operations and involved in solving real life business problems.
Students received and took online courses. The training was hosted by IBM Digital-Nation Africa. It focused on learning the skills of the future and exploring emerging technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Blockchain, and how to build innovative solutions.
Students participated in a general quiz test which they passed with flying colours. Bolanle Hughes, the training facilitator presented the recognized and respected IBM badges to students who excelled exceptionally.
The training ended with a group photograph and the presentation of an award of recognition from Wellspring College to IBM West Africa in recognition of their exceptional contribution to business technology advancement in Nigeria.
