On Wednesday, 28th of October 2020, Wellspring College held its 15th annual valedictory service in style. The grand ceremony took place within the school premises at Omole Phase 2, Lagos.
In his ministration titled “Eating your Future”, the guest minister, Pastor Damilola Oluwatoyinbo of KINGS Ministries admonished students to decipher their life’s purpose and cherish theirself-value. The Chairman of the occasion, National Secretary, of The Foursquare Gospel Church in Nigeria, Reverend Abayomi Oyinloye counseled the graduands to remain resolute in all their undertakings, as they proceed to a higher stage of their academic journey.He urged them to remain focused and work hard to attain loftier heights in life.
The Special guest of honour, Ambassador Chief Lady Edith Ebisi, spoke on the importance of parents’ active participation in their children’smoral and educational development. She stressed the need for parents toensure that they are easily accessible to their children.
Nwagbo Onyinyechukwu, emerged as the valedictorian of Class of 2020, she enjoined her fellow graduands never to forget who they are and to hold on to the morals imbibed in them while at the College. Onyinyechukwu also received the overall best in Arts award.
Owolabi Timillehin graduated overall best in sciences while Oni Oreoluwa Esther received the overall best in commercials award. All the graduands received prizes from the school, while some were specially awarded for outstanding academic performances in various subjects.
The event ended with a prayer for the graduands by the founder of the school, Mr. Daniel Isimoya.
