On Tuesday, February 19, 2019, some of our music students visited Wole Oni Music Production Studio owned by prolific music producer, UN Ambassador and first YAMAHA artist in Africa, Wole Oni.
Ambassador Wole Oni is a top Nigerian music producer, who has carved a niche for himself in the music industry. He is a renowned Jazz Pianist and has produced music for a number of leading Nigerian artistes. He is also known to produce music that spreads positivity.
The students were delighted to visit his studio where they tried their hands some instruments and produced a song from start to finish, as he took them through the process of music production. Ambassador Wole Oni spoke to the students on the importance of music and how it could be used as an instrument of positive change.
The students were motivated by lessons from his life experiences which he shared during an interactive session.
Our heartfelt gratitude goes to the entire WOMP team for such an insightful excursion and the warm reception.
